Margot Allais

After completing her Master’s degree in Microbiology at the University of Otago in 2022, Margot is now a Senior Technician in the Health Security Research team at PHF Science (formerly ESR). Her role spans a diverse range of projects on human pathogens, from high-throughput sequencing of influenza viruses to developing assays for differentiating Treponema pallidum subspecies and optimising DNA extraction and sequencing approaches for challenging organisms such as Candidozyma auris.
