Dr Owen J Wiese

Owen J Wiese is a chemical pathologist with a special interest in emerging technologies in laboratory medicine. Owen trained in biochemistry prior to studying medicine at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. Following several year in general practice, Owen furthered his studies obtaining a master’s in medicine degree and awarded a fellowship in chemical pathology by the Colleges of Medicine in South Africa. Owen immigrated across the Pacific in 2024. He currently works a consultant chemical pathology at Awanui Labs in Wellington.
