Martin Witt
Martin has worked in a range of public health fields for over 35 years much of it in the field of cancer, during which time he has had a particular intertest in policy advocacy, tobacco control, and the role of local government. More recently his interests have concentrated on how NGOs like the Cancer Society work in partnership to best respond to increasing cancer numbers and the rise in early onset cancers in adults under 50. As one of the Cancer Society’s two research managers, Martin is focused on supporting the development of the organisation’s first research and innovation strategy.
