Greg Mirams
Founder and Managing Director of Techion Greg Mirams has a passion for innovation, propelling him to the forefront of AI supported digital microscopy and data management. With its origins in animal health, Techion now extends into digital intelligence for people and our environment. Under his leadership, Techion has become renowned for its cutting-edge FECPAK diagnostic tool that assists farmers to receive real time disease intelligence to more effectively manage important production limiting diseases. Greg is currently leading an innovative healthcare project involving Awanui – New Zealand’s largest diagnostic provider Microsoft and others. The project will validate an end-to-end solution for digital microscopy tests using Techion’s Rata platform. Under Greg’s guidance, Techion has partnered with Sainsbury’s UK, Ghent University, Cornell University, the Swiss Tropical Public Health Institute and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to name a few. Collaboration with global research institutions and industry partners ensure Greg continues to push the boundaries of what's possible to make the world a better place.
