Dr Serena Park is an anatomical pathologist with the Anatomic Pathology Service at Te Toka Tumai Auckland, Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, with a special interest in uropathology, breast pathology and cytology. Alongside her diagnostic work, she has become a practical advocate for using free, general-purpose AI tools to make everyday pathology and laboratory work faster, safer and less tedious — for pathologists and for scientific and technical staff alike. She designed and led the hands-on workshop "AI as Your Everyday Pathology Superpower" at RCPA Pathology Update 2026, and is developing a follow-up workshop for the IAP 2027 Annual Scientific Meeting. Her focus is deliberately unglamorous and immediately useful: no scanners, no subscriptions and no coding required — just accessible tools that any lab can pick up and start using the next working day.
